Stay safe in the heat

HOT

It will be another hot weekend with temperatures reaching 30 Celsius, or higher, in central, southern and some northern parts fo England. Southest England will be hotter with temperatures reaching 34 to 37.

The highest temperature reached so far this year is 37.8 Celsius, recorded at Heathrow on July 31st.

It’s easy to become dehydrated or overheat when it’s hot outside. Make sure you’re drinking plenty of fluids. Aim to drink 6 – 8 glasses of liquid a day, and more if it’s hot. Eat a balanced diet to help your body replace any salt you lose by sweating.
